The petrol-electric hybrid technology in Ranger Plug-in Hybrid combines electrification and traditional internal combustion engine power to boost low-rpm performance, perfect for hauling cargo and towing heavy loads, while helping to extend the life of every tank of fuel. Drive it just using the internal combustion engine, as an EV only1 drawing power from the rechargeable battery or as a combination of the two for enhanced performance. It’s all possible with Ranger Plug-in Hybrid’s EV Drive Modes4.
Uncompromised towing
Ranger Plug‑in Hybrid provides an uncompromised braked towing capacity of up to 3,500kg3, so you can haul it all and then some.
1. Officially homologated energy efficiency figures including driving range will be published closer to on-sale date for Australia using ADR 81/02 certification. Over 45km is the targeted range based on manufacturer tested values and calculation according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). Actual range varies with conditions such as external elements, driving behaviours, vehicle maintenance, payload, towing, battery age and state of health.
2. Pro Power OnboardTM may vary between models and markets. Electrical outputs to be published closer to on-sale date for Australia.
3. Maximum towing capacity-braked using a Genuine Ford tow pack. Subject to State and Territory regulations. To comply with these limits, occupants and / or luggage may need to be restricted to not exceed the GCM and GVM limits. For further details regarding passenger and luggage restrictions, please consult your authorized Ford Dealer and / or refer to the Owner’s Manual.
